Desktop Model Airplane
Aug 23rd, 2007 by Model Airplanes
There is just something about airplanes that have always intrigued me. I can remember the first time I went to an air show it was at Keesler Air Force base located in southern Mississippi. Needless to say I had a blast and was even encouraged to pursue my pilot’s license at the ripe age of 11.
As a kid I use to develop my own airplane designs using paper to create a model or drawing the design that was in my head. Most of which were futuristic and some had even the likeness of something that would be used in a James Bond movie.
I have really come to appreciate the desktop model airplane as well. Many of us forget about these because we tend to think of remote controlled airplanes every time we hear the word model plane. Over the years there have been so many different planes designed, created, even manufactured that the significance of having desktop model airplanes are great for remembrance purposes. They make perfect gifts and decorative items depending upon the setting you would place it in.
We have gathered a great list of online stores that carry a huge selection of desktop planes just go to our plastic model airplanes page.
What’s your favorite airplane model?
